Position: Photo/Catalog Production Expert

Salary: $10/hr to start during training period; up to $18/hr per experience/performance
Responsibilities:
Handling and imaging a wide variety of rare books, manuscripts, photographs and other visual material from the 18th to mid-20th c., this individual will be creating web/print images for online and print catalog production through DSLR photography and scanning, using Photoshop and InDesign. There are some creative design aspects to this position, but it should be primarily considered, first, as high-efficiency production work; a distant second, as creative design. We regularly issue online and print catalogs and this individual will be adept at making quick and intelligent decisions, to be able to prioritize time to be spent on each item, each catalog. This individual will also manage web and tiff files and should have a logical and consistent method to their organization and archiving.

- Photoshop

- Photography skills – excellent and knowledgeable
- Experience with print catalog production
