This position combines traditional marketing responsibilities with the technical requirements of the digital marketing era. A successful candidate will have experience in digital capabilities, products, target markets, future markets and strategic goals. This position is responsible for developing strategies with Management to strengthen awareness of the company’s capabilities and products, define target markets and technologies for future growth and identify the competitive landscape.

This position is responsible for developing and cultivating a target customer list (email and other) for digital communication and will execute a digital strategy using customer contact methods such as: email content, social messaging (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.), newsletters, blogs and content tagging, etc. This position will participate, execute, and oversee research, writing and editing for a broad range of marketing materials including: case studies, white papers, presentations (customer specific tradeshow related) and web content.

Will rely heavily on web analytics tools to devise effective web marketing campaigns and to evaluate the effect/responses to such campaigns. A significant responsibility of this role is custom development and content administration for the company’s Magento based website(s).

Qualifications include:

  • B.A/B.S. in Marketing, Advertising or web design and 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing
  • At least 1 year experience in development, programming with PHP, (X)HTML, CSS, Jquery, Javascript & MySQL
  • At least 1 year experience working with the Magento Ecommerce platform
  • Experience in SEO, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, SEO keyword analysis
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver), HTML, and CSS
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Advanced with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Highly organized and ability multitask with a high workload
  • Strong project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet timelines
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact comfortably and effectively with a variety of personalities
