Esen Pence

Esen Pence is a creative director, brand designer, and team leader. With her primary focus is branding and brand building in consumer goods, she’s worked on a diverse array of projects like innovative packaging designs to ad campaigns.

Having grown up in Istanbul, Turkiye, she’s gotten a chance to study in influential European institutions such as Schule für Gestaltung Basel and London’s Central Saint Martins before getting her BFA in Illustration with a concentration in Design at the University of the Arts, Philadelphia where she’s called home ever since. Her commitment to professional development is evidenced by her continuing her education in Human Computer Interaction at UC San Diego certificate program and in product design at UArts post-graduation.

Esen’s been part of AIGA serving on the Civic + Community Engagement committee as well as the Design Mentorship Program for several years and is dedicated to cultivating a welcoming space for designers of Philadelphia. In her spare time you can find her at a concert, and depending on the time of year, snowboarding or hiking.
