PHILADELPHIA, PA—AIGA Philadelphia is proud to announce a one-day conference and workshop that focuses on the unique opportunities and challenges of the in-house creative community. More than half of all professional designers in the United States are employed full-time by corporations and organizations. Philadelphia is home to some of the most creative in-house design teams in the country. At this conference we will bring together this regional community of designers to share their insights and perspectives. This conference, part of AIGA’s INitiative program, has been developed to help in-house design teams thrive and make a greater impact at their companies, while connecting with a broader network of their peers. AIGA Philadelphia’s “This is My Philly” Writing and Collage Workshop

Philadelphia, PA—AIGA Philadelphia and SPELLS Writing Lab are pleased to announce the 5th Annual This is My Philly event, celebrating the special neighborhoods of our city. Children ages 8-13 from city schools will have the opportunity to work with professionally trained creatives in a college setting. Spells Writing Lab volunteers and graphic design students from area colleges will work with the children to put their feelings about Philadelphia on paper, creating a collage and supporting poem expressing their love for Philly.
