Job Description:
This designer will work with management and other marketing team members to develop strategies and user flows to enhance the customer experience. They will also be responsible for analyzing the customer experience through all channels, customer engagement and feedback and assist in providing recommendations on the results. Additionally, this position will continually review, analyze and maintain the user experience and performance of all company websites. This designer will also be in charge of ensuring the email templates are maintained and continually evaluated to provide an optimal user experience. This role will also be working with the design team to execute other assets such as videos, interactive landing pages and animated pieces. Supports design team with other projects as needed.

This designer will primarily be responsible for the following:

  • Assist in the development of strategies and user flows to enhance the customer experience
  • Continually analyze the customer experience, engagement and user feedback to improve the customer journey
  • Translate strategies, concepts and ideas into user flows, wireframes, mockups and finalized assets that lead to an engaging, streamlined user experience
  • Providing performance reporting and analysis of company websites and use these to evaluate and update the user experience
  • Researching and providing insights into user experience best practices
  • Investigating and providing insights into competitor user experiences
  • Assist in the creation of videos, interactive landing pages and animated pieces
  • Assist in the development of emails and maintaining the email templates to provide an optimal user experience
  • Must possess the ability to take projects through the stages of concept, execution and completion within relatively short deadlines
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • Must have superior communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be a highly organized, creative and self-motivated
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple simultaneous projects
  • Must have skills in HTML, XHTML and CSS; JavaScript preferred but not required
  • Skills in video production and animation preferred
  • Web proficiency required; coding required
  • Organization skills and attention to detail
  • 2-4 years’ experience
  • Strong knowledge of graphic design principles
  • Adobe Creative Suite (including Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, InDesign and After Effects)
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
