Job Description
The Hanson Design team is looking to hire a highly motivated graphic designer with strong graphic and digital skills. The designer must demonstrate excellent design ability, and work well within a shared creative team environment. Knowledge of coding HTML, CSS and familiarity with javascript is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Research and participate in creating design looks pertaining to typography, layout and design
- Design compelling web assets, marketing emails, and online ads
- Responsible for UX design and updates
- Create branding assets for social media outlets
- Work with account executives and copywriters to maintain consistent brand messaging
- Work closely with team to execute the Art Director’s design direction
- Work with Art Director to improve existing and develop new design strategies
Qualifications
- Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite on a Mac platform
- Experience with photo retouching
- Experience of front-end technologies (i.e. HTML, CSS, javascript)
- Understanding of composition, color, and design theory
- Ability to create assets in a variety of methods from hand-drawn to digital
- Must comprehend logical page structure, readability, visual hierarchy and balance
- Familiarity with mobile and responsive design a plus
- Having solid knowledge of WordPress is a plus
- Experience: Minimum 3 years design.

Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design
