Content Strategist & Copywriter

Job Description:
Hanlon, a growing branding and digital marketing agency, is seeking an experienced and creative content strategist and copywriter. In this position, you will be responsible for brainstorming and transforming ideas into words for a variety of executions including websites, emails, videos, social media, and other digital channels. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with a strong strategic approach to help shape the branding, positioning, and growth of a diverse client base.

Responsibilities:
• Write clear and persuasive copy for marketing and advertising
• Formulate strategies to connect products/services to consumers/businesses • Develop unique, memorable concepts and content
• Conceive, develop, and produce effective advertising campaigns
• Collaborate with the creative team including art directors, creative directors, creative service managers, and fellow copywriters
• Assist account and strategy team in developing creative briefs and content plans
• Revise, edit, and proofread content
• Manage time, deadlines, and multiple projects in a fast paced atmosphere • Work within brand guidelines and help develop brand voices

Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of agency experience
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Strong portfolio of work samples including brand storytelling
• Highly organized, detailed-oriented and with strong planning, execution and time management skills
• Excellent English language communications skills – written and verbal
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, as well as an articulate and friendly problem-solving attitude
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with solid decision-making skills
• Intellectually curious and passionate about creative marketing, advertising and branding
• Bachelor’s degree required
