While the rise of social media helps students to connect, networking between these students is slim, and communication is often limited to those attending school together. AIGA Jefferson created Unity: A Poster Gala, to empower and encourage young designers to keep doing what they love to do while bridging the communication gap between us.

Through this, we also aim to encourage the creation of more AIGA student groups in the greater Philadelphia region, as well as the implementation of student run events through AIGA. More student groups and events, will help continue to inspire students to do things for themselves, while uniting together to share ideas and connect with one another.
