Get ready for a field trip without permission slips (in all seriousness, there is a waiver) as AIGA Philadelphia hits the road for an evening of wit and wisdom in the heart of Amish country from a bearded gentleman like no other. We’ll be joining AIGA Central PA in Lancaster for their evening lecture as Aaron Draplin presents “Tall Tales from a Large Man,” a journey through his ferociously independent design career. If there’s ever a reason to stay up late on a Thursday night, this is it. Draplin’s signature straight-talk style will leave you inspired to get busy and make great work.
The trip will leave from AIGA's Space Gallery at 4:00pm sharp, arriving in beautiful Lancaster, PA in time to stretch out and get a good spot for the lecture. Plan to arrive at 3:30pm to sign in. Do not be late! After the lecture we'll settle in for the drive back and drop off all attendees back at AIGA Space. The bus will not drop you off at your home so plan your transportation home after you arrive back at AIGA Space. Space for this trip is very limited.
