Draw with Philadelphia-based illustrator and designer, Nate Harris. This month we’ll be in the Philadelphia Navy Yard, home to several of Nate’s installations.
Learn more about his work and gain some inspiration for your own drawing. Nate will lead us through a Wild Combinations drawing prompt, examining themes that contradict each other. Organic shape and perfect geometry, humans as buildings, buildings as humans, yings and yangs, furniture for plants. Themes can be literal or abstract, loose or refined, or all of the above.
We'll provide some paper and writing supplies and we encourage you to bring your own as well. Refreshments will be provided by FS Investments.
Registration is free and open to AIGA members and non-members, but we ask that you RSVP so we can provide an appropriate amount of supplies.
Transportation
Free parking is available in the FS Investments lot and surrounding streets. Additionally, the Navy Yard offers two free shuttle routes that allow employees and visitors easy access to the Navy Yard from Center City, and NRG Station on the Broad Street Subway Line.
