Born and raised in Amherst, MA, Hilary moved to Philadelphia in 2000 to pursue a degree in photography from University of the Arts. Acknowledging her love for beautiful type, well-composed layouts and sharp identity work, she decided to declare Graphic Design as her major. While there she refined her skills in multiple areas including print, digital, typography, identity & photography.
Before joining the Allen & Gerritsen team in May 2011, Hilary worked at O3 World where she finessed her development skills and served in a number of positions with increasing responsibility, culminating in her appointment as the company’s Art Director. Because of her passion to create and grow as an artist, she can often be found at home working on any number of design/web projects. She is known to be a sucker for good cheese & most social occasions. In her free time she can be found riding her bike around the city, attending to every need of her 2 cats or thinking of another way to apply design to her everyday life.

Mario hails from the town of Indiana (not the state) in the rolling hills of western Pennsylvania. In his own words, he is Indiana’s 2nd most celebrated son, and he imagines that some day his hometown will erect a statue of him next to that of fellow Indianaite, Jimmy Stewart.
Having earned his BFA from Tyler School of Art and his MFA from the University of Hartford, Mario has been illustrating for damn near a decade and has worked for a broad range of clients in the editorial, book, advertising, and institutional fields. He counts among his clients Time, Inc., The New York Times, ESPN Magazine, Maxim, the National Football League, the NFLPA, Crayola, Klutz, Quirk Books, and Tribal DDB.
Currently, Mario works out of his home studio in Philadelphia, PA and teaches illustration at Tyler School of Art and Philadelphia University.

About United By Blue
Website | @UBBphila
United By Blue was founded in 2010, driven by the idea of associating the sale of each product with a concrete environmental action. For every product sold, UBB removes one pound of trash from oceans and waterways through company organized and hosted cleanups.
In September of 2013, United By Blue opened a flagship store and coffeehouse in Old City, Philadelphia at 144 N. 2nd Street in an early 1900s building. Using repurposed materials, UBB created a space that mixes our complete line of apparel and accessories with a full-fledged coffeehouse serving up some of the city's finest organic coffee and food.
