Not just for (traditional) students! This event is appropriate for everyone interested in visiting the collaborative print studio - novices to experienced printers! Students, Educators, Emerging Designers, Pros and AIGAPHL Mentorship program participants all welcome.
Enjoy a tour of the printing facilities, hear a local artist, Scott Porcelli talk about his work, and get a little dirty during a hands-on screen printing demo. You will meet with the pros in this unique communal and supportive workspace, and leave with a small, printed souvenir to take home. Refreshments will be served.
Special Bonus: At 4pm, directly after the Second State Press event, we will go upstairs to visit GDLOFT, an award winning collaborative design studio in Crane Arts that works with local and international artists, higher education institutions, cultural art institutions, nonprofit organizations, and much more. http://gdloft.com/
