Job Description: We are looking to expand our team and are on the lookout for a mid- to senior-level designer (minimum 5 years of experience) who is equally comfortable with taking clear direction or grabbing the reins and running. We expect you to demonstrate deft skill and care across a range of mediums, but are especially interested in your UI/UX work in digital spaces. Responsibilities: • Demonstrate expertise in digital (and print) design • Translate your designs into responsive, accessible, high performing, and delightful digital experiences • Stay current on current trends and technologies • Contribute to and occasionally lead the discovery and ideation stage of projects • Present work to clients and our team with a clear rationale • Integrate easily into a collaborative, small, team environment, while working independently • Embrace the details of each project • Participate in the whole process from discovery to concept to execution and launch • Meet or beat all assigned deadlines
Qualifications: • Flexible, reliable, passionate, approachable, curious • Experience in an agency, firm or studio environment preferred • Proven conceptual and design skills in your portfolio with a clear slant toward digital design • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with grace • Excellent written and verbal skills • Ability to problem solve on the fly • Deep understanding of and curiosity in research, needs analysis, user experience, user interfaces, micro interactions and navigation schemes • Strong to expert skills on a Mac and industry-standard tools (Sketch/Figma, InVision, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and current web technologies a plus Illustration, photography, copywriting skills also a plus and at times, a necessity • An endless passion for the greater good
