Job Description

The Campbell Soup Company Growth Channels Design Manager position is a design leadership and creative role requiring strong initiative, with specific aptitude for creating a design vision and confident project management. A qualified candidate is a business savvy, strategic and experienced design leader, with a passion for design excellence and strategic problem solving. The Global Design Manager – Growth Channels is the global design expert and trusted consultant for all Campbell’s specific brands and provides vision, guidance and consistent design leadership to create business building design solutions for global Campbell brands. The successful Global Design Manager – Growth Channels exhibits strengths and is a key contributor in five areas:

  • Strategic business partner for specific brand or line of businesses
  • Design vision and creative guidance for the assigned brands (or lines of business)
  • Experienced and creative project manager
  • Expert in understanding and applying evolving design and communication trends
  • Strong consumer advocate

Minimum Requirements

  • 6-10 years packaging design experience – corporate food and beverage packaging experience is preferred, though not required
  • Associate Degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or comparable is required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)

  • Focused efforts on brand building in Growth Channels with Top Customers; accountable for contributing to Net Sales growth
  • Clear and persuasive written and verbal communication skills

  • Actively participates in customer meetings and internal sales planning sessions
