Position Overview

Philadelphia Magazine is seeking a temporary editorial designer to assist in our art department for the next 6-8 weeks. This is a flexible part-time position (approximately 25 hours/week) but requires on-site work in our Center City Philadelphia office.

The ideal candidate will possess editorial design experience and be fluent in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. The position requires strong layout skills, experience with classic editorial typography, and the ability design on-brand. Familiarity with InDesign templates, styles and master pages are a must.

The designer will work on both Philadelphia Magazine and Philadelphia Wedding, collaborating with art, edit and photo staff to conceptualize and design engaging pages and guide them through our editorial workflow.
