Zach Gibson Bio
For the past three and a half years, Zachary Gibson has been a lead designer throughout the process of defining Google’s Material Design UX and Visual Design guidelines. He is also a design advocate at Google, and has worked with hundreds of digital product design teams to share best practices and processes. Prior to Google, Zachary was a senior designer at Hot Studio (a UX agency acquired by Facebook), an Art Director at Shepard Fairey’s Studio Number One, a Junior Designer at 2one5 Creative, and a design intern at MTV. He has a BFA in Graphic and Interactive Design from Tyler School of Art and an MFA in Design from California College of the Arts . Zach lives in Oakland, California with his wife, cat, surfboard, motorcycle, and lots of books.
