We’re looking for an experienced UI designer well-versed in the fundamentals of experience design. Visual designers play an essential role on our project teams by offering insight at the conceptual stage, giving shape to an idea with well-placed pixels, and ensuring everything we ship meets our standard of fit and finish. During a project, visual designers may collaborate closely with clients, researchers, UX designers, and developers to solve tough design challenges. Given this level of involvement, we expect designers to be comfortable discussing their craft fluently without relying on jargon.

For this role, we need someone who can work on-site with one of our clients based near Exton, PA. You’ll team up with some other great Think Brownstone designers but your in-person presence as a consultant will be needed to see this ambitious project through.

The essentials:

A deep passion and ability to create beautiful digital interfaces from scratch
Evidence that you can build and apply a coherent interaction design language
Familiarity with current UI and UX mobile design patterns and RWD/adaptive best practices
Pride in communicating your design ideas and process clearly
A mastery of your design tools—apps and techniques alike
A basic understanding about how front-end code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) is used to build interfaces
Willingness to work on-site near Exton, PA
