Position: Senior Graphic Designer

Job Description:
The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for developing marketing communications (print and digital) that meet project objectives from concept to completion for a wide variety of internal clients. The role requires strong layout and design skills, creativity, great attention to detail, self-motivation and the ability to follow visual identity guidelines. Designer should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to effectively communicate ideas to clients and respond to criticism in a professional manner. The Senior Graphic Designer should be comfortable working alone, in collaboration with the design team and under the direction of the Creative Director.
Responsibilities:
- Design, conceptualize and produce brochures, flyers, credit/debit cards, advertisements, trade show displays, LCD animations, invitations, branded products and much more.
- Work independently, in collaboration with other designers, and under the direction of Creative Director in developing creative communications that meet project objectives, adhere to TD Bank brand standards, are on budget and on time.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to effectively communicate ideas to clients.
- Manage projects from conception to completion, including creating proofs, making revisions, preparing final production files and going on press inspections (when necessary)
- Proactively stay up-to-date with current design trends and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design (or related field)
- 5+ Years of related experience
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- Digital experience (including video animation) preferred
- Solid understanding of printing, production technologies and materials
- Fluent on Macintosh operating system; knowledge of Windows a plus
- Financial/Banking experience a plus, but not required
