Tad Carpenter, Designer, Illustrator, Author, and Teacher
Tad is a designer who illustrates. Actually, he’s an illustrator who designs. Or, an author who illustrates. The striking thing about Tad is that his work seems to flow seamlessly across skill sets. He has a rare combination of talents that has provided him with amazing opportunities and has resulted in stunning work.

Tad’s clients have included many local, regional, and well-known brands like Target, Macy’s, Land of Nod, Rayban, Nick Jr, MTV and Adobe. His work has appeared in numerous publications and he has written/illustrated a number of children’s books. Additionally, since 2009, Tad has taught graphic design at the University of Kansas.

He regularly speaks at industry conferences, AIGA events, and colleges throughout the U.S. His work has received many accolades and was profiled in the “Fresh” section of Communication Arts Photography Annual 54 issue.
