SEGD Philly Event at The Franklin Institute

Join us for a night of fun as SEGD Philly and AIGA Philly explore The Franklin Institute’s newest and biggest exhibition, “Your Brain”. Find out how and why your brain is always changing when you explore the exhibit. It’s all about real life and what’s happening inside your head everyday as your brain makes sense of the world around you. Climb the 18 foottall web of neural networks and zoom in to explore at the cellular level where neurons fire. Use your brain to explore your world, like a busy street filled with multi-sensory illusions that literally turn your world upside down. With over 70 interactive experiences, you’ll begin to think about how you think and just maybe, it will change your mind.

Our guest speakers will include Jeanne Maier, Director of Exhibits & Design at The Franklin Institute and Lauren Dougherty and Stacey Humphreys Blankin, Associates at Strada. The Franklin Institute and Strada collaborated to create this multifaceted and interactive exhibit. We will meet in the lobby of The Franklin Institute located at 222 N 20th Street in Philadelphia on Thursday, July 31st at 6:30 pm. There is street parking available around The Franklin Institute. After the tour we will have a networking event to connect at a local watering hole. Please RSVP for this event at philadelphia-chapter@segd.org.
