Job Description:
Work directly with Senior Designer and collaborate with the creative team to execute projects ranging from multimedia national ad campaigns, marketing, and brand initiatives to the digital site, social media initiatives, corporate identity solutions, and standard print collateral.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with Creative team to forecast daily and short-term design workloads, and ensure that creative deadlines are maintained
- Assist the Senior Designer and Director of Creative Services in the building of print and digital layouts when needed, including: printed collateral, digital ad banners, site artwork, digital invitations, digital look books/landing pages, and targeted emails
- Assist with retouching for presentation and internal needs
- Creation and updating of all seasonal advertising guideline kits
- Provide general studio support to Creative team, including: presentation prep, mockup building, mood boards and inspiration research
- Stay knowledgeable of emerging trends and best practices in interactive space
Qualifications:
- Excellent proficiency in all Adobe Creative Suite programs
- Strong typography skills, and experience with high-caliber design content
- Solid understanding of HTML
- Understanding of color profiles and CMYK & RGB color workflows
- Ability to work with precision under rigorous deadlines, and extended daily schedules when necessary
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with art directors, marketing managers, production managers, and vendors
- Excellent visual acuity, and ability to interpret/communicate design and color comments
- Fastidious attention to detail, quality, critical specifications, and production requirements
- Motion experience a plus (After Effects, Premiere Pro)
