Freelance Motion Graphic Artist

Modern Good needs an exceptional motion artist to collaborate with on a wide variety of motion work throughout the year. Candidate has exceptional typographic sensitivity and conceptual skills. The designer will lead the creation of visually compelling, on-brand motion graphics from concept through to execution. Estimate of 5 projects a year.

Collaborate with the Modern Good team. Deliver design excellence. Always on schedule.

Qualifications:

Beautiful portfolio of work and can collaborate well with others in addition to generating original ideas.

2+ years of motion/video/editing experience
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with a focus on Adobe Premiere and After Effects
Strong conceptual design skills, including typography and layout expertise
Versatile motion design skills, with the ability to create engaging animations suitable for various platforms
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience:
- 5 years for Bachelor’s;
- 3 years for Master’s;
- or 6-8 years of related work experience
