AIGA Philadelphia’s recurring critique platform – FEEDBACK – where emerging designers present real work, receive constructive insight, and grow through community dialogue.

Held each spring, FEEDBACK brings together graduating and recently graduated designers for thoughtful critique, professional insight, and meaningful dialogue with experienced reviewers across the Mid-Atlantic region.

Whether you’re presenting or reviewing, Feedback is designed to make critique constructive, supportive, and actionable — not intimidating.

How FEEDBACK Works

FEEDBACK is structured to create clarity, not confusion.
Selected presenters share work in progress or completed projects. Reviewers respond with thoughtful critique focused on strengthening ideas, sharpening execution, and expanding perspective. Attendees gain insight into creative decision-making and process.

Common Questions

Do I need to be a graduating student to join?

You can be a graduating or recently graduated (within the last year) to get your portfolio reviewed. If you are a working professional and are interested in be a reviewer, please reach out to the host directly.

What disciplines are included?

Graphic Design, Advertising, UX/UI, Branding, Illustration, Motion Graphics, and more are all welcomed!

What if I’m not pursuing a BFA?

We invite anyone pursuing or recently holding a Certificate, Associates, BA, BFA, MA or MFA to participate.

What areas do you serve?

Philadelphia, Southern New Jersey, Northern Delaware and Central Pennsylvania. If you consider yourself part of the Mid-Atlantic, then you’re most likely within AIGA Philadelphia’s footprint.

How will I be paired with a reviewer?

This year, all participants will be paired randomly with reviewers. You will be paired with reviewers both within and outside your discipline; so be ready to discuss your work without jargon. Every participant will have 3 review sessions during the evening.

Is FEEDBACK a job fair?

Enjoy light refreshments, beverages, raffles and networking!
