JOB DESCRIPTION:
Dyad Communications is looking for a full-time front-end web developer. Developers at Dyad Communications work closely with designers, producing high-quality websites balancing current web trends, SEO, usability and thoughtful design. The applicant should demonstrate proficiency using HTML5, CSS3, and JS/jQuery. The ideal candidate also has an innate eye for design and will bring an innovative drive to the production of new web experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Approach the design of new websites guided by aesthetic and technical logic
Systematically address the usability challenges posed by the web
Develop website front-ends using HTML5, JS/jQuery, CSS3, Sencha Touch
Optimize websites for touch devices
Work adeptly in Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications
Juggle the production schedules of multiple projects for a variety of clients
Interface directly with clients and effectively communicate client needs and goals
Manage website assets
Provide light IT support internally, as well as to clients

IDEAL QUALITIES:

At least 3 years experience as a front-end developer
Experience using a web-based CMS (ExpressionEngine, WordPress, etc.)
Familiarity with the Sencha Touch framework
Knowledge of PHP and mySQL
Experience with responsive design and development techniques
Experience with Ajax/Asynchronous Programming
Knowledge of and previous experience with source control (SVN, Git, etc.)

We specialize in creating identities and websites for high-end architecture firms, interior designers, decorators, builders and engineers. We have a small development group, and seek a proactive communicator who approaches every challenge as an opportunity to learn and interact with other members of the team.
