American Bible Society

American Bible Society (ABS), one of the oldest and most respected Christian Charities in the world with a life changing mission—to make the Bible available to every person in a language and format each can understand and afford, so all people may experience its life-changing message—is seeking an Associate Graphic Designer with knowledge and experience in designing marketing collateral to meet the ministry and fundraising goals of ABS.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively within an internal creative agency, design a range of print communication material for ABS brand
Participate in project intake meetings to help strategize and problem-solve in initial stages of pre-design
Create and design external client marketing materials, including corporate brochures, annual report, PowerPoint presentations, ministry and product materials all supporting the business strategies and goals of ABS
Create and design brand collateral, including business cards, letterhead, envelopes, etc.
Create and design advertising material as needed
Conceptualize and design department or event specific brand collateral
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
Develop and maintain strong knowledge of ABS brand and ministries
Remain current in profession and industry trends
Maintain creative files to be organized and accessible to ABS staff

Essential Skills: Minimum qualifications individual must possess

Creative ability to conceptualize and design
Ability to multi-task
Work as a team player, responding well to priorities and feedback from Design Manager and Marketing Senior Manager
Organized and able to meet deadlines
Ability to project manage with little supervision
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Software
Resident of Pennsylvania

Preferred Skills

Good client relationship skills
Ability to recognize and implement new design techniques and trends when necessary

Education and/or Training

College degree and/or portfolio school accreditation in graphic design, art, or related field

Supervisory Responsibilities

No direct reports.
