Job Description:
We are looking for a mid-level designer who is comfortable creating original concepts and designs and executing them with deft skill and care across a range of mediums, especially in the digital space. Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate expertise in traditional print and digital
design
• Translate your designs into responsive, accessible, high
performing, and delightful digital experiences
• Stay current on current trends and technologies
• Contribute to and occasionally lead the discovery and
ideation stage of projects
• Present creative work to clients and our team with a clear
rationale
• Integrate easily into a collaborative, small, team
environment, while working independently
• Embrace the details of each project
• Participate in the whole process from discovery to concept
to execution and press check
• Meet or beat all assigned deadlines
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years experience in an agency or
studio environment
• Passion and creativity
• Proven conceptual and design skills in
your portfolio with a clear slant toward website and application design
• Ability to manage multiple projects
and tasks with grace
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to problem solve on the fly
• Deep understanding of and curiosity in
user experience, site functionality, user interfaces, and navigation schemes
• Strong to expert skills on a Mac and
industry-standard tools (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InVision)
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and
current web technologies a plus
• Illustration, photography, copywriting
skills also a plus and at times, a necessity
• An endless passion for the greater
good
• BS/BA/BFA degree in Fine Arts, Graphic
Design, Web Design or related area preferred
