Amanda Froehlich

Design + Business Chair

Amanda started her design career as a production artist at W.B. Saunders after graduating from Rosemont College with a BFA in Graphic Design. Throughout her career she has climbed up through the ranks as a designer, senior designer and creative director at Elsevier, a global Medical Publisher, managing the in-house Creative Services department. While employed at Elsevier, she went back to Rosemont College to earn her MA in English/Publishing.

Currently she is Manager, Creative Operations at Saint-Gobain, a global manufacturing corporation, running their in-house Creative Agency. She has an unrelenting passion for connecting the creative and business side of the advertising industry, and loves to help others understand how this works and how it can enhance their design careers.

When she’s not working on her latest strategic creative plan or freelance graphic design project, then she’s spending time with her 70lb American bulldog mix (who thinks he’s a lap dog), or simply drawing and painting in her studio at home.
