Location: Asian Arts Initiative – 1219 Vine St, Philadelphia, PA 19107
Ticket Pricing: $15 Early Bird Special; $20 after 4/10/2026

Join AIGA Philadelphia for the opportunity to connect one-on-one with top designers from across the Mid-Atlantic at our annual student portfolio review, FEEDBACK 28. This event is open to graduating students and recent graduates (within the past year) who are seeking thoughtful critique and professional insight on their work. We welcome participants from a wide range of disciplines—including Graphic Design, Advertising, UX/UI, Branding, Illustration, Motion Graphics, and more. You do not need to be pursuing a BFA to participate; students and recent graduates from Certificate, Associate, BA, BFA, MA, and MFA programs are all invited.

FEEDBACK 28 serves the greater Mid-Atlantic region, including Philadelphia, Southern New Jersey, Northern Delaware, and Central Pennsylvania. This year, participants will be paired randomly with reviewers, both within and outside their discipline, so come prepared to discuss your work clearly and without jargon. Each participant will receive three review sessions throughout the evening.

FEEDBACK is not a job fair, but rather an invaluable opportunity to receive professional critique, expand your network, and build lasting connections with industry leaders. Tickets are $15 per person, with all proceeds going directly toward making this event possible. A ticket purchase is required to complete your registration.

Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to showcase your work and gain meaningful professional insight. Register here!

Typography is more than choosing fonts. The details—dashes, kerning, spacing, hierarchy—are what separate amateur work from professional and help readers understand your content clearly. Getting these details right is both satisfying and essential.

Good typography lives in the details. If you learned typography basics but still feel uncertain about the finer points, this session covers what you need. Knowing when to use an em dash vs. an en dash, understanding metric vs. optical kerning, and mixing typefaces with confidence will bring joy and polish to your work.
