All creative in-house teams are engaged in project management, whether they like it or not. This can sometimes feel outside of the designer’s wheelhouse. But the implementation of comprehensive project workflow processes and metrics tools are critical to successful project execution and team management.
How are resources assigned to a project? Are clear expectations set from the outset? How is the statement of work and creative brief developed? What deliverables are needed at various stages of the project? How are revisions and approvals handled? How is a project’s success measured?
Join us for a members-only roundtable discussion led by veteran in-house design manager, Andy Epstein, as we delve into these questions and find out how other in-house design teams are approaching project management. Andy Epstein is a veteran in-house design manager, having created and grown in-house design teams of various sizes for multiple companies. Andy now works for Cella's sister company, The BOSS Group, and leads the 70+ person, multidisciplinary managed services team at Merck Pharmaceuticals. Andy has written and spoken extensively on in-house issues, and was the cofounder of InSource. He edits and contributes to the HOW InHOWse blog, authored The Corporate Creative, and recently completed a 4-year commitment heading up AIGA’s in-house INitiative.
