AIGA Philadelphia recognizes the importance of nurturing creative talent.
We are committed to supporting future generations of designers but we can’t do it without you! Work with us to build a sustainable scholarship fund for area Graphic Design students.

Imagine you had everything you needed to share your vision with the world: talent, skill, dedication, desire. Everything, that is, except money.

We need your help. AIGA Philadelphia kicks off the 2024 launch of our Scholarship Fund. The Alina Wheeler Memorial Scholarship is an annual scholarship program that will support local Undergraduate design students by awarding financial assistance to pursue their education. Scholarships will be paid directly to the student to be applied towards tuition, housing, expenses, or personal needs necessary to pursue their goals.

Our 2024 goal is a $2,500 scholarship. With this scholarship we hope to build upon the foundation of community we began so many years ago. We challenge every Chapter member to make a donation. If each member of the Philadelphia Chapter donates just $20, we would easily raise enough money to fund our 2021 scholarship!

In early December 2023, we lost author, consultant, entrepreneur, esteemed friend, mentor, and a founding member of AIGA Philadelphia, Alina Wheeler. Throughout her illustrious life, Alina exhibited an unwavering commitment to design leadership, holding various roles within AIGA.

The AIGA Philadelphia Board of Directors renamed the chapter’s scholarship fund in honor of Alina’s enduring legacy and the positive impact she had on our community. Help us help others and contribute to the Alina Wheeler Memorial Scholarship today!
