PR / Media Relations Chair
Aimee Cicero, a graduate of American University and Philadelphia native, has been working in public relations field for the last 15 years.
After graduation, she worked as an assistant sports media relations director at Georgetown University before returning to the area to work at Drexel University in 2002. While at Drexel, she served as the primary media contact for five of the university’s varsity sports programs. She received her Master’s in Public Communications in 2004, before moving on to Temple University as Assistant Sports Media Relations Director, working with high profile coaches like Dawn Staley and John Chaney. She also served as the media coordinator for the 2004 NCAA Women’s Basketball Philadelphia Regional as well as several Atlantic 10 Conference Tournaments.
In 2009 Cicero became the Director of Communications for Major League Soccer’s Philadelphia Union where she built the team’s first ever Public Relations Department and handled all media operations for the team’s brand new stadium PPL Park.
In 2014, Cicero joined Brownstein Group. As the Agency Communications Manager, Cicero is responsible for all marketing, public relations and social media for the agency.
