About Education

The AIGA Philadelphia seeks to enhance the abilities of design educators and educational institutions in order to prepare future designers for excellence in design practice. We have created programming throughout the school year to engage, inspire and mentor emerging design students.

We are always looking for committee members. If you have any interest in becoming a committee member please contact our Education Board Chair.

We are proud to welcome legendary designer Steve Frykholm on May 11th to share stories about his design journey. Known for his time as Vice President of Creative Design at furniture company Herman Miller, Frykholm pushed the envelope as the company's first in-house graphic designer by creating, early in his career, the now iconic posters for the Summer Picnic Series. Join us for this rare opportunity to hear from a design icon.
